The CIOP Designation is built upon a rigorous belief in the power of knowledge as a shaper of performance, a builder of professionalism, a creator of ideas, and an inciter of innovation and change. It is a terrible contradiction to think that our organizations will continually improve when we are not making a conscious effort to improve ourselves. And so we must challenge ourselves to truly learn when the easy path is to think that our learning is behind us.
